Sharon
Huckel’s three recordings have included
contributions from international recording
artist Paul Wilbur, seminal Messianic band,
Israel’s Hope, and acclaimed songwriter
Steffi Rubin, author of the worship classic,
“The Trees of the Field”. |

Sharon grew up in Philadelphia where she
studied voice at the renowned Settlement
Music School and began performing as a
soloist at the age of twelve. Later Sharon
would turn down a vocalist scholarship to
Juliard - choosing instead to focus on
raising her children and supporting her
husband in ministry. |

Sharon's faithfulness was soon
rewarded when Chosen People
Ministries commissioned her warmly
received first recording, "For
Zion's Sake". The recording
features sparkling Klezmer (Jewish
folk) originals from Steffi Rubin,
and achingly beautiful ballads,
including "Be Thou My People", which
soars when Paul Wilbur joins Sharon
with the plea, "Return to your God
Israel". |
